Q1: How do I buy tickets?

A:1 For more information and all the options, on tickets visit this page: http://hitchcockshome.co.uk/tickets

Q2: What if I want to see more than one film?

A2: We'd love it if you wanted to come to more than one showing!  A ticket for all three nights is just £32.  Simply click on tickets for any of the nights and choose the option from the drop-down menu that says "3 nights".  Click here for tickets

Q3: Will tickets be available on the door?

A3: We cannot gurantee that tickets will be available on the door as we may have already sold out by then.  If we have left over tickets, they will be available on the door.

The safest bet would be to buy your tickets online  .  There is no booking fee!

Q4: Do I have to dress up?

A4: Absolutely…. not. The dress code is optional. We’ve set it so people can get into the Hitchcock mood and be part of the atmosphere. Plus, there will be prizes awarded for outfits (completely unbiasedly, of course..)
But we’ll still let you in if you come as yourself…

Q5: Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
A5: All the main films and shorts are rated not higher than "15".  If you are undert hat age, you will be allowed to enjoy the rest of the pop-up party but you will not be od enough for the main films.
There will also be two bars serving alcoholic drinks- if you're lucky enough to look that young then you might be asked for ID.

Q6: Will the event accept card?

A6: Unfortunately not.  However there are 3 cash machines opposite the venue and an additional 3 within 1 minute walk!

Q7: Will there be anything to sit on?
A7: This is a traditional outdoor screening, meaning it's BYOBlanket (Bring Your Own Blanket).
There's plenty of grass and headstones to snuggle up for picnic-style seating. So bring your blankets and rugs. Chairs (and other obstructive seating etc...) will be allowed in limited numbers in particular areas.  Please be considerate of other audience members and be reasonable about how far you spread!
We will have a few chairs for those who need one!

Q8: What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
A8: Saint John's Church, Leytonstone is so close to Leytonstone Underground (Central Line) that you can see it from the station.
It's also a 10 minute walk from Leytonstone Overground Station with plenty of busses that go past.
There is also on-street bicycle parking. There is no dedicated car parking but there may be spots nearby.

See the "Location" for more details

Q9: What can/can't I bring to the event?
A9: Please bring: blankets, chairs and whatever you'd like to keep yourself comfortable during the screening as it's outdoors in a cemetery
Please don't bring your own food or drink. We have worked very hard to bring you locally and sustainably sourced food and drink to make your evening merry. It's reasonably priced and is all part of the atmosphere!

Q10: Can I bring my own food and drink?

A10: Please don't bring your own food and drink.  The food and drink stalls have been chosen especially for the experience and are as local and sustainable as possible.  Please help us in supporting them by not bringing in external food or drink.

Q11: Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
A11: If you've got a single ticket it must be used for the night specified. However, if you contact us with enough notice we will do our best to accommodate any changes you require.
We're pleased to say that anyone can use the ticket even if it doesn't have their name on it.

Q12: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A12: We believe in minimising paper waste so there is no need to bring your printed ticket. We will only need to see your e-ticket.

Q13: What is the refund policy?
A13: If the show goes on: We all love the British weather... so the event will go ahead come rain or shine... In this case we will not issue any refunds (we'd suggest bringing a waterproof just in case!);
If the show stops: If, for any reason, we have to cancel the screening completely then we offer you a full refund.

All refunds are subject to our digression are are not guaranteed.

Q14: The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

A14: Not a problem. As long as you have a valid e-ticket well let you in!

Q15: What if I arrive late

A15: Doors open at 18:30 but you can turn up any time between then and the main screening when the sun sets (c. 21:15).  After the main showing starts late-comers will be allowed entry at our discretion (as long as it doesn't distrub the rest of the audience or the film!)

Q16: What happens if event details change?

A16: All event details are subject to change.  We will do our best to ensure that things run as they have been set out but all and any details may change.  But in true showbiz style you can be sure we will put on a great show and it will most definitely go on!

Q17: Is there disabled access?

A17: The church, courtyard & church hall have complete disabled access.  The cemetery ground is flat but bumpy with headstones dotted around... so this area might not be as suitable.  If you have any doubts, please get in touch.
